Getting the Internet Ready for the Kids

I never had the need for New York local Internet because I was rarely at home. When my sister asked if she could move in with me, I knew that was the only thing that I would have to get because of her two kids. She promised they would not be there long, but I was actually thrilled to have them stay. I knew that the kids would want to have online access to keep in touch with their friends and play games, so I told her I would make sure it was ready before they even got there.

I had no idea which company to choose though, so I did some research from my office connection. I was able to find a website that had all of the information that I needed, and I was even able to arrange the installation of the service from there too. I use the Internet at work for business purposes, but I really don’t have a need for it beyond that. I don’t stream videos, I don’t play games, and I don’t have any social media profiles. The difference though is that I am nearly 45 while the kids are almost teens. Continue reading

Sealed Foods for the Winter

In my field, I grow a lot of fruit and vegetables that I rely on of profit and to get me throughout the year. They taste so good when they’re fresh from the tree or the ground, but they won’t last for long. Eventually I have to pick the fruits and vegatables and sell them off while I still have time. I sell them whole, frozen, and sealed. Sealing the food in jars with MAP packaging systems keeps the food fresh long after it has been picked, so you can eat it any time you want.

I love to eat preserves in the winter time. My favorite thing to do in the winter is to open a jar of peach preserves, cook some biscuits, and spread the preserves on a biscuit cut in half. The sweet taste of the preserves goes really well with the light and fluffy biscuits, and really gets me going on those cold winter mornings. When I’m in the mood, I’ll sometimes eat the preserves on their own. I can finish off a whole jar of preserves in the blink of an eye. Continue reading

I Feel Better with a Security System

My grandmother lives in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, which is Miami. She moved there when she was widowed nearly 30 years ago and has loved every day there. I decided to move there when a job opportunity came up for me. I wanted to be closer to her, but I also loved the area myself from former visits there. I was able to find a small house that was right on the outskirts of town, so I got an incredible deal on it. The next thing I did was contact ADT Security in Miami because my gram told me they were the best security company around.

She has been a customer of theirs for decades, so she definitely knows what she is talking about. Continue reading

The Followers Come in Droves

I buy Soundcloud packages to boost my followers and listens, and it actually works. Before I did this, I was only getting a small number of people on my songs, and these people were my close friends and family. They were pretty much only listening because they wanted to be nice or they felt they were obligated to do so. While it was nice of them, I needed more people besides them to listen to my stuff. That’s when I did some serious thinking. There had to be some kind of way to get more people to listen to my songs.

I thought about doing various marketing techniques, but when I weighed out the cost, it was more money than I wanted to spend and more than I could afford at the time. Continue reading

Whether you are a pro or a novice, the type of guitar you use for your music truly has an effect on how well you will perform. This article will help take a look at some of the affordable and popular models of jazz guitars.

If you are looking for a classic, but new 50s appeal to your jazz guitar, the Epiphone Emperor can be a good choice. It has a laminate body and is very affordable for the average jazz guitarist. It can work as an everyday guitar to take on the road without having to worry about any aesthetic scratches. The Emperor is easy to handle and play, has a very good tone, but it isn’t very versatile in terms of music; works best for jazz guitarists only.

The Fender Telecaster is often dubbed as a popular choice for rock or country enthusiasts, but it works well for jazz guitarists too! It has a warm tone to it and can withstand wear and abuse. Continue reading

How Much Are These Guitars Worth?

Guitar Player Tells You How To Sound Like a Pro | Fender Front Row ...I am hardly a professional guitar player. I was in a band in high school, but we broke up after about half a dozen shows. My Dad is still mad about the money he spent buying us a Public Address system. However my Uncle Louis was a very accomplished jazz musician and when he died last summer he left me a collection of guitars and a lot of his other stuff. To be honest I am not really sure what some of these guitars are called. Most of them are similar the Gibson Les Paul or the old hollow body type Gibson that Mary Ford would play. One of them is a Hofner, but I am not sure which model it is. Continue reading
